Welcome back everybody, Jason Moss here and today I have a helpful little tip that I don’t know how I didn’t know about this before. But I didn’t and that is the emoji keyboard on windows 10. Okay. I don’t know how I’ve been surviving without this. But this has been a game changer since I discovered it just about a week ago. So before, whenever I wanted to do emojis, like if I’m in Facebook or something, making a post, everybody knows on desktop you can come over here and you can select your emojis. Right? but when I was making Facebook ads or if I was doing some other things online, I would always go to emoji pedia.org which I really liked them. And then I would search and you know, find the one I want and then select it and then copy and paste it.
Jason Moss:
And that all works perfectly fine. I was using that for a very, very long time. Okay. And I liked that they show you how it’s going to show up as well. Okay. But it takes a lot of time. All right. So what I found out was that emoji keyboards are built in directly to windows 10. And this is for windows 10. I don’t have a Mac. So this is, this tutorial is not for Mac. I know Mac has it, but on windows 10, all you do is you hit the windows button on your keyboard in the period. Okay? So if I hit and you have to be in a text area, so like right here, you know I’m about to write text, right? But you hit the windows key and you hit period and boom, you have the emoji keyboard pop up.
Jason Moss:
Okay. And this is pretty sweet. All right. Because you can just start typing. Like if I want that arrow, I type arrow and it goes and finds the arrows and then I can use my cursor or I can use the arrows on my keyboard, find what I want and I can hit enter and it leaves it up as well, so I can type another one so I can find star. I like this guy here, the star I guy. So I use him a lot. I use fire a lot, so I’m just typing, fire and fire pops up. And then you know, you can come down here and you can search yourself if you want to do it that way as well. Like maybe you don’t know the name of it. Something like that. You can find all of those emojis all in here.
Jason Moss:
So it’s very, very sweet. This is a very, very handy tool. You know, once again, it’s just the windows key and period and it pops right up and then you just start typing. So glasses. And there’s some glasses. All right, so pretty cool. I love this little thing. It makes things a lot easier when I’m trying to find emojis. But yeah, if this was helpful, give me a thumbs up. Like the video subscribe. Really appreciate it. And if you have questions, leave them below. I’ll be happy to answer those for you. But I will see you guys in the next video.
