Need Transparent Background In Free Canva? I got you!!

Hey, everybody, Jason Moss here and today’s video, I have another Canva tutorial for you, I want to show you how to download transparent images from a free Canva account.
OK, so it does not have to be a paid pro account. This is how you do it with a free account. All right. So as you can see, I’m in my Canva account. This is actually my paid one. And I’ll show you what I’m talking about here. OK, I have a logo that I’m making here and let’s say I want to put this on like a black background or something like that. Well, when you’re in your paid account and you go to download it, you have the option to do a transparent background.
All right. Which is perfectly fine. But if you do not have a paid account, you’re going to see something like this. OK, now I’m switching over to my non paid account, OK? And you’ll see everywhere it says Try Canva Pro. So when I go to download it, transparent background is the pro. Like when you click on it, it makes you pay for the pro.
They do have a free trial. So that’s great. If you only want to do something once, you can always do that. All right. But a lot of people don’t want to do that. They just want to get this picture. They want to download it. They’re working with the logo, something like this. They need that transparent background. So this is how you do it. All right. And let me change the background here from why to like green so you can see what I’m talking about.
So let’s make the background green here. All right. And we’re going to download it. All right, we don’t have that option, of course, to just make sure. All right, we’re going to download. OK, so it’s download it and you’ll see when we open this up. Of course, it’s got the green background. All right, so we need to get rid of that. So how do we do that? Well, we’re going to have to use it.
Another app, OK? And it is one hundred percent free. It’s online. It’s called LunaPic.com . I’ll put the link in the description below, but all we do is we go to upload. All right. We choose our file that we just downloaded. All right. And once it uploads, you will see the picture here. All right. So now what do we do? All right. We got to get rid of this background.
So it’s very easy. All we do is come over to edit. We go down to transparent background. All right. It’s going to bring us over to their little tool here. All right. In all you do is you click where you want it to go, where you want the transparency to happen. So we want this green to be transparent. All right. So we’re going to just click in the green area and processes it and there we go.
All those boxes mean that that is the transparent area. And as you can see, it left one little area there under my arm.
So sometimes how you can fix that if you have an image that has that issue. All right. You can do instead of doing transparent area, you can hit transparent color. And a lot of times it’ll fix that. And there we go. Fix it. All right. If for some reason that doesn’t fix it, you can move it back to mode. I think it was called our area. Click back to area and then hit start again. And it loads this.
It does everything you did before and then you can click on the another that other green area right in here, which was not green. So sometimes you got to play with it a little bit. But that’s very simple. That looks good right there. Everything is transparent. So now all we do is go over to file. We hit save image. All right. And then all we want to do is save as PNG for transparent. So we click on Save is PNG.
That opens up or downloads. Let’s open it real quick and there we go. There is our transparent image. All the green is gone. It did leave that one little area there. So I would just have to go back and fix it. It’s very simple. Like I showed you. Just click on those different options and you can get rid of that. But that is how you do it. That’s how you download a transparent image out of the free Canva account.
You download it out of there and then you upload it to Luna, pick click on those couple of different options. And it’s that simple, guys. So you don’t have to pay for a paid Canva account. I do have a paid account because I love it. It’s only like thirteen bucks a month and I use it all the time. So very, very simple.
